Shawn Verhein

Shawn is a Licensed Professional Counselor In-Training under the direct supervision of Sara Francis. He graduated with his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in December 2021. He completed his Bachelor’s degree, here in Waukesha, from Carroll University in Psychology and Criminal Justice.

 

Shawn has worked with a variety of children while doing in-home treatment for individuals with high functioning autism as well as in the clinic setting. In previous roles, Shawn worked at a halfway house for males recovering from drug addiction. During his internship with Engaging Therapies, he worked with clients from the ages of 4 all the way to 65 addressing a wide range of topics.

Shawn currently works with children, adolescents, and adults. He is available in-person and via telehealth. His primary avability is day-time (before 4pm). 

 

In his free time, Shawn enjoys all types of games and is an avid sports fan who enjoys playing and watching virtually every sport.
