Sara Francis received her Master Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2012 and her second Master Degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis in August 2017. Sara has been practicing in the outpatient mental health setting since 2013 including working in a residential treatment facility. She has an adoption competent therapist following training developed by the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.). In addition, Sara has been working with children on the autism spectrum in the child's home, the community, and clinic settings.
Sara believes therapy involves a working relationship between the client, client's family, and therapist. It can move along quickly or slowly, as the client is comfortable. In my work with children and adolescents, I strive to develop a trusting therapeutic relationship as early as possible because it is such an important aspect to the process of coping and healing.
