Mikella has a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. She works with individuals, couples, and families.
Mikella focuses on the understanding of relational dynamics and the impacts on individual mental health while creating a safe and empathetic environment. She emphasizes relationship building with her client's family. In addition to relationship building, Mikella takes a person-centered approach to therapy while incorporating a trauma lens.
She has experience working with individuals with autism through her time as an ABA therapist with children under the age of 5.
Mikella is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists.
Mikella is under the direct supervision of Sara Francis LPC.
