Mikella has a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. ​She works with individuals, couples, and families.
Mikella focuses on the understanding of relational dynamics and the impacts on individual mental health while creating a safe and empathetic environment. She emphasizes relationship building with her client's family. In addition to relationship building, Mikella takes a person-centered approach to therapy while incorporating a trauma lens.
She has experience working with individuals with autism through her time as an ABA therapist with children under the age of 5.
