Ally Goulder

Allyssa (Ally) Goulder is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her Master’s degree in Counseling from Ottawa University in 2021. Ally has also worked within Child Protective Services with an emphasis in trauma informed care. She strives to provide services within a trauma sensitive lens while being sensitive and understanding of her clients and their individual needs.

 

Ally believes in the importance of putting her clients and their needs first.  She believes it is important to meet clients where they are at and to provide them a safe and comfortable atmosphere to foster positive change and growth at their own pace.

Ally works with children age 3+, teens, and adults. She has experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse/neglect, foster care, behavioral issues, and special needs.

 

Ally is trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. She is  also an adoption competent therapist following training developed by the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.).

​​Issues: Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Foster Care, Parenting & Family Dynamics, Adjustment Disorders, Social Skills, Coping Skills, Emotional Regulation, Cognitive and Developmental Delays and Disabilities.
